stash knitting and some new podcasts [Mar. 9th, 2007|06:58 pm]
Nocturnal Knit

Happy new year, nighttime knitters (yeah I know it's March but it's been a while since we've had a post).

Just wondering, how many of us are knitting only from stash this year?  I'm on a yarn diet (no purchasing, only swaps except for very special occasion project yarn) to save money.  I found an interesting site the other day, for swappers and people trying to destash to needy knitters:  Good Yarn Karma.  Also along those lines is DeStash - Cash For Your Stash! and of course our own knitswap  .

In addition to those listed in my previous podcast list post, I've found some new ones you should check out:
Trueyarns - a podcast for the creative person
Stash and Burn
Lixie Knits It
Christa Knits
Purl Diving

ETA a few more:
Yarns from the Southland
Moonlight Stitches
and knitting news-cast has moved to a new site

I am not knitting from my stash. I only started knitting in August, so I don't have any major stash problems. Thanks for posting the new podcasts.

I'm glad this community is still kicking. I can't stay up and knit now, but I'm sure once I graduate this may I'll be back to my old, nocturnal self - no 8:30 classes!

TRYING to only knit from my stash... partially successful so far. I need to take a picture of the whole thing soon. Scare potential boyfriends away, and all.

i am now! my personal rules (posted on my lj) are slightly different from theirs/wendy's, but moral support/solidarity is always a good thing.
